Guðmundur Óskar Guðmundsson
Guðmundur Guðmundsson has never competed in IFO or any motorsport whatsoever. He has been playing around on Motocross bikes and Snowmobiling but only for his own enjoyment. He has the enthusiasm and is determined to put on a show for the people who come and watch. He has no experience, but is extremely excited to try this out, despite it being a little out of his comfort zone. We however think the Offroad Fever will catch him and he won’t be able to stop once he drives up his first track.
We can trace the steps of “The Doctor” back to Eyjólfur Skúlason, designer, builder, first owner. He competed on it for some years until Þór Þormar Pálsson bought it from him in 2014 and it took the name “Spiderman” a.k.a “Mjölnir”. Þór Þormar had great success on it throughout competitions all over. In 2016 Þór Þormar shipped his vehicle across the ocean to participate in the First F.O. race in the U.S, making history. After that Birgir Sigurðsson bought the chassis and roll cage from Þór Þormar. Him and his team changed some things to make the car more steady in the vertical hills. Moved the engine further down and back and changed the angle of the shocks. Now Guðmundur has bought the car from Birgir.
